Although this loco was withdrawn by BR in November 1972 and never received a TOPS number, in 1983 whilst in industrial use, it received accident damage to its cab and had a new cab fitted from next in line, 03149, hence it is carrying a TOPS number under the hasty coat of Orange paint in this photo.

Gb-Agf1-021 45061 is just about to pass the 141.5 miles from Paddington milepost, with a Down passenger service heading for Taunton and beyond. Photo was taken from just off Wick Lane near Wick Bridge, on the Bleadon Level, in Somerset, sometime during late July-early August 1981. Additional info. As this loco was withdrawn from service on 16th August 1981, this would mean the photos in this album are dated from before then.
