| ![08551, 08555. [BBR1--024] 08555 and 08551 behind sit out in the wilderness that was the original Clarence Yard, 26/11/82. Both were withdrawn and waiting to go for scrap. Clarence Yard was the original name for the goods yard that stood on the site of Finsbury Park depot. 5 sidings still remained of the yard and the name continued to be used by footplate men when referring to the depot. 08551, 08555. Although this loco was withdrawn by BR in November 1972 and never received a TOPS number, in 1983 whilst in industrial use, it received accident damage to its cab and had a new cab fitted from next in line, 03149, hence it is carrying a TOPS number under the hasty coat of Orange paint in this photo.
