Built by the Birmingham Railway Carriage & Wagon Co entering service at Hither Green in April 1961, this class 33/0 locomotive 33044 (D6562) could be found along with some of her class mates dumped around the back of BREL Eastleigh works., New to Hither Green as D6562 on 15/7/61 withdrawn from Stewarts Lane 09/87 cut up 10/90 by V Berry's Leicester, , 12th September 1987
