Class 27 locomotives 27049 ( D5388, 27105), 27053 (D5397, 27109) and 27037 (D5389), along with 23 other locomotives form part of the famous stack at Vic Berry's scrapyard, which was located in the old goods yard at Braunston Gate, Leicester, which was built by the Great Central Railway in the 1890's, , 20th December 1987
