Ex LMS Stanier 'Black 5' No. 5000 departs Bridgnorth with a Kidderminster bound service on Saturday 11th October 1986., The 'Black 5' was the first one to be built at Crewe, entering traffic in March 1935 & remained in service until withdrawl by British Railways in October 1967. It was preserved as part of the National Collection & was based at the SVR between 1977 & 1991. It is now on static display at the NRM Shildon.
