Less than a month before being withdrawn, BR Sulzer Type 2 25 211 sits in the afternoon sunshine outside the remains of Machynlleth's former engine shed, whilst inside, BREL built Sprinter DMU 150 107 awaits it's next turn of duty on Thursday 29th May 1986., Built by BR Derby in 1965 as D7561, it was withdrawn at Crewe on June 27th & became the last class 25 to be scrapped when it was eventually cut up by MC Metal Processors, Glasgow, during July 1995.,
