Roof detail of a Class 25 circa September 1979 and possibly at Peak Forest., , The image shows the relocated engine exhaust and one of three types of roof panels that surrounded the exhaust. , , In addition to the square panel shown here, there was also an 'L' shaped panel and if the locomotive had been shopped at Glasgow Works the panel was flush with the remainder of the non-removeable section of the engine room roof., , Although the engine roof has 25165 written on it, this is not 25165 as by this time it was withdrawn and awaiting breaking up at Derby Locomotive Works., , Original photographer unknown.
