An air of decay and despair at Derby Locomotive Works, believed to be about 1986/1987., , In the foreground a line of partially derailed Conflats, some appearing to carry Class 45 bogie frames, whilst in the distance prototype HST power car 975813 (41002 & 43001) awaits its final move to Booth's Rotherham and in the far distance a few Class 20s linger in the Works sidings, some for scrap, some for repair., , Original photographer unknown.
