D5283 Derby Shed March 4th 1967 ex-Brush Works, Loughborough
D5283 alongside Derby shed on March 4th 1967., , The locomotive has been recently outshopped from Brush Works, Loughborough after accident repairs, along with D5021 & D5218. , , All received blue/yellow livery, though D5021 & D5218 were released with small yellow warning panels and the lion & wheel emblem., , Thus D5283 maybe the first Class 25 repainted in blue livery with full yellow ends., , It is also running with one of the engine room windows sheeted over. The window would later be refitted., , The headcode 1T38 suggests D5283 has recently had its acceptance trial on the mainline after release from Brush., , Original photographer unknown.
