20011 and Crane Derby Locomotive Works January 1990
Class 20 No.20011 and an unidentified rail mounted crane at Derby Locomotive Works during January 1990. , , 20011 was the last locomotive on the Works premises, being removed during February 1990 and then dumped at Etches Park for several more years until being taken away to MC Metals, Glasgow for scrapping., , 20011 had been used as an engine testbed during its final time at the Works, so it was unable to move itself. To overcome this problem of getting 20011 from the Shops to the Test House a withdrawn powered crane also on the premises was modified and put into service to move 20011 around., , Was this crane therefore the last powered rail vehicle in use at Derby Locomotive Works?, , Original photographer unknown.
