InterCity Sleeper (SLE) Mk3a 10714 a 1983 product of the Derby Carriage and Wagon Works, a total of 208 of these carriages were built, but by the end of the 80's the overnight sleeper sevices, apart from the Caledonian and the Night Riviera had all but disappeared, quite a number like this one on the Severn Valley Railway, have wound up on Heritage Railways providing accommodation for volunteers., , 21st February 2015
