On last day of timetabled locomotive hauled service trains on the 'Hope Valley' route, class 47/4 locomotive 47463 (D1586) is seen approching Buxworth cutting with a Liverpool Lime Street-Sheffield working, the following day the new timetable came into operation with Class 156 ‘SuperSprinter’ units operating the new Liverpool-Norwich services., New to Cardiff 5/64 as D5679 withdrawn from Crewe 04/95 cut up 11/96 at Crewe Works by MRJ Phillips, , , 15th May 1988.
