Coalville Open Day, this year, 1989 marked the 150th anniversary of the opening of the Midland Counties Railway between Nottingham and Derby. As part of the celebrations to commemorate this anniversary, a Class 47/4 locomotive 97561 (D1614, 47034, 47561) was painted in special livery and appropriately named "Midland Counties 150 1839-1989", shortly after this picture was taken she was renumbered again to 47973., New to Worcester as D1614 in 9/64 withdrawn 08/96 cut up 03/97 at Crewe Works by MRJ Philips, , 11th June 1989
